In your eyes

A series of monologues in process that are based on the idea that creativity and science combine easily in our minds, our subconscious and our bodies. The monologues are inspired by what I see when people aren’t necessarily talking, and not necessarily looking at anything in particular. The monologues combine stage directions and dialogue as one structure, mainly because I am not certain yet that they are monologues. Neither am I certain that the stage directions should be stage directions. There are a lot of writers whose work I have read where the stage directions are as eloquent and beautiful as the dialogue they write. It’s always a choice of the director and actor whether the stage directions are used, so I haven’t specified what the stage directions are to make decisions a little more open.
